You knocked on the med-bay door timidly. Your arm was bleeding from a long gash, where you had slipped and cut yourself on the stove when you had made breakfast.
"Come in..." Medic's tired voice replied.
You pushed open the heavy doors and entered the pristine white infirmary.
How Medic kept it so clean was beyond you, but, somehow he managed it. There was not a spot of blood on the floor, at least not until you entered. "Ah, crap. I'm getting blood everywhere..." You muttered.
"Are you alright, (F/n)?" The friendly RED Medic asked.
"Mostly, I just slipped and cut my arm on the stove. Can you fix it up for me, Doc?" You asked.
"Of course! It is my job to do zhis!"
"Thanks, Doc."
The German brought out a small Med-Pack, a roll of gauze and a cloth. He swiftly cleaned your arm and wrapped the gauze around it to prevent infection.
When he was finished, you spoke again. "Thanks... Oh, also... Heavy said you got mail, he wanted me to give this to you." You handed Medic the small white envelope that Heavy had entrusted you with.
"Ah, danke, (F/n). I have been waiting for zhis. It is from mein family, you see. I wrote to zhem recently, and have been vaiting to hear back from zhem."
You swiped a dirty rag off of one of the tables, and began to clean up some of the blood that had dripped onto the floor.
"Ah, (F/n), you don't need to do zhat. I can do it later." Medic insisted.
"No, no it's fine! I've got it." You reassured.
You watched as the German doctor slowly opened the envelope, pulling out a small piece of notebook paper. He unfolded it, smiling, glad to hear from his family.
His smile faded the more he read, and when he finished, he looked utterly broken.
"What's the matter?" You asked cautiously.
Medic practically collapsed to the floor, and it was clear that he was trying not to cry. "Mein sister... She died of disease..."
You stood up, leaving the rag on the floor. "Oh, Medic, I'm so sorry for you... She must have meant a lot to you..." You consoled, moving to sit next to him. You put your arms tentatively around him, trying to soothe the distressed Medic.
He hugged you close, crying into your shoulder.
"Shhh.... It's all right, I promise..." You whispered to him.
"Danke, (F/n)..." He murmured, still crying.
You looked at him, the understanding clear in your eyes. "I know what it's like to lose someone close to you..."
"You- you do?"
"Yeah... I lost my dad in the war... I was closer to him than anyone else in the family, and when we heard he had passed, I didn't eat for several days. I made myself so sick, everyone thought I was going to die. Nobody talked to me, or tried to help me get through it. I don't want you to go through the same thing..." You whispered, closing your eyes. Now you were about to cry.
"Thank you..." Medic said quietly.
"If you ever need me... you know I'll be here, listening..." You reminded him.
He stood up, wiping the tears away from his eyes. "I don't know what I'd do vizout you, (F/n)..." He said, more strongly this time.
You stood up as well. "I'll always be here if you need me, just call and I'll be at your side." You smiled reassuringly at him, and he smiled back.
Medic kissed your forehead gently, thanking you one last time as you left him on his own.
Everybody should always have somebody to rely on in times of need, but sometimes, it can help to be alone.

Words Unspoken - MedicxReader
The crisp cold air prickled my skin as it curled through the small open gap in the window; blazing contrasts of warmth hit my covered eyelids as the sun pierced through the morning dew and condensation on the glass; slipping through my fingers as I tried to block it’s stunning light from waking me, but stubbornly my small efforts were to no avail. The repeated morning routine began again for the countless amount of days I had spent here, almost becoming second nature as I pushed against my face and rubbed through my drained half-asleep expression.
A small bundle of fresh clothes emptied to my feet as I opened the wonky cupboard door, i

Infatuation - MedicxReader
I had been looking for quite some time, analysing each contour of Medic's features in a trance like state. It was easy to lose myself as his details engrained vividly into my memory but staring made it all to obvious to some. A hand placed firmly on my shoulder as I flinched and tilted my head round to see Sniper, looking cheerful and considerate as always. "You should tell him" he smiled, looking from the doctor back to my stern expression. I bit lightly on the inside of my lip and calmly hid my embarrassment in an attempt to look as nonchalant as humanly possible. Sniper spoke iconically with his stereotypical Australian accent "Poor fella.
